It's officially Fall, Folks!

This year, instead of letting you hide away, we ask you instead, to immerse yourself in the delightful activities the Summerville area has organized specifically for your enjoyment.

Every month, Summerville, SC holds its ongoing “Third Thursdays” event in Hutchinson Square. There, you can stimulate all senses, learn new tricks and trades, and if you’re lucky, pick up a few more friends from a crowd of smiling faces.
This welcoming society is full of a variety of businesses that have honed and mastered their particular set of crafts and skills and they want to show them off just for you. From boutiques to bakeries, to wine and design, there is literally something for everyone, not to mention an amazing classic car show, for the automobile enthusiasts in the family.  

We know one day of fun a month is not nearly enough, so no worries, this community has so much more to offer. With The B.I.R.D.S. project, you can enjoy the town any day of the week. This public campaign is designed to bring people together, reignite their sense of adventure, and discovery through the arts, by placing bird sculptures throughout downtown Summerville, then daring you to find them all. If locating them on your own proves to be to difficult of a challenge, the amazing minds behind this venture have even thought to make you a map! Which includes photos of all of the statutes, and will lead you directly to each one so you may marvel at their beauty. The artists put love into every bird, while giving you a delightful tour of the town along the way.

If you are craving an activity that is a bit more savory, we insist you attend the Summerville 2018 Italian Feast, being held September, 30th from 11:00am - 6:00pm. as a celebration of Italian culture and heritage. Anyone may attend, and at no cost. Authentic Italian cuisine will be served, as well as local and imported Italian wines. Just bring your appetite, an open mind, and if you want to wear those sweatpants we mentioned earlier, we’d completely understand.
